Health Records

Creating Health Records

  1. Navigate to PiggyPro → Health → Health Records
  2. Click Create
  3. Select the pig or batch
  4. Choose record type:
    • Vaccination
    • Medical Treatment
    • Health Check
    • Disease Diagnosis
    • Injury
  5. Enter details:
    • Date of treatment/check
    • Symptoms or observations
    • Diagnosis
    • Treatment administered
    • Medications and dosage
    • Veterinarian (if applicable)
  6. Set follow-up date if needed
  7. Save the record

Batch Health Records

Apply treatments to multiple pigs at once

For vaccinations or treatments applied to an entire batch:

  1. Open the batch record
  2. Click Batch Health Record button
  3. Enter treatment details
  4. Health records are automatically created for all pigs in the batch

Vaccination Schedules

Health Procedure Templates

Create templates for recurring health procedures:

  1. Go to PiggyPro → Configuration → Health Procedure Templates
  2. Click Create
  3. Enter template details:
    • Procedure name (e.g., "Iron Injection")
    • Procedure type (Vaccination, Treatment, etc.)
    • Description and instructions
    • Recommended age or weight
    • Medication details
    • Dosage guidelines

PiggyPro includes default templates for common vaccinations like E. coli, Erysipelas, and Parvovirus.

Scheduling Health Procedures

Access: PiggyPro → Health & Operations → Scheduled Procedures

  1. Click Create
  2. Select procedure template or enter custom procedure
  3. Choose target:
    • Individual pig
    • Pig batch
    • All pigs matching criteria
  4. Set schedule:
    • One-time procedure with specific date
    • Recurring (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
    • Age-based trigger (e.g., at 3 days old)
  5. Configure notifications and reminders
  6. Tasks are automatically created based on the schedule
